Finding the Area of a shape

WALT find the area of a shape in square centimetres.
We explored shapes by covering them with square centimetre cubes and counting how many cubes it took to cover the shape.
We then drew shapes on grid paper and counted how many squares our shapes covered.

Reflection: It was hard trying to get the right number of squares.

Fariy Tales in Te Reo Maori

WALT retell fairy tales in Te Reo Maori
WALT make a movie using iMovie

We created this to help celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori (Maori Language Week)
We created this by taking a video of the little puppets moving.  Then we took off any background noise and recorded our voices saying the Te Reo Maori for the fairy tale. We then added titles to show the English translation and who made the video.
Reflection think i did good at my cupids and fullstops and i think i did good at my writing .
Next time i would like to do good at taking less at time. 

Why should plant trees?

 paper is made out of wood too.

Trees give us oxygen.  It gives us Oxygen because it sucks the dirty air  and gives us back the clear air.

Trees give us food and also gives food like banans to animals that is  why we should plant trees.

 

Reflections: I did good on my capital letters and full stops.

I found it hard to do the voice typing.
